About colleen

At first glance, it may seem my professional and personal interests and paths vary greatly, but upon closer inspection, a thread appears and these paths lead to a specific root: storytelling. As an artist and designer, I was trained to visually tell stories that ignite passion and action. As a community witch, I help others refine their own stories help them flourish as an individual and member of their community.

I currently live on the traditional land of the spuyaləpabš (Puyallup) people (colonially rebranded as Tacoma, WA.) and work in youth programming for an independent school. Previously, I was Development Director for a mid-size contemporary dance organization in Seattle, Washington, of which I now sit on the Board of Trustees. My current consulting clients include independent entrepreneurs, artists, community witches, and healers, for which I manage creative projects, work as a production artist, direct fundraising initiatives, help with strategic planning, and offer intuitive services.

I have also worked as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving at a prestigious university in Seattle. Prior to my career in fundraising and development, I spent almost 10 years managing the print production department of one of the world’s largest animal rights organizations where I worked in graphic design, print management, kiosk and display design and construction, and prop building.

I co-founded a micro-publishing company, Mend My Dress Press, in 2015 and continue to work with the press on production and design. I have been reading tarot professionally for over 5 years, was a core reader with the Night Flowers Tarot Collective, create energetic essences and sprays, and offer folkloric-based witchy guidance and curios based on my personal spiritual journey.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University, and hold a BFA in Photography from Emily Carr Institute in Vancouver, British Columbia. I have completed courses in grant writing, as well as alternative approaches to the tarot, Bach's flower remedies, and boundaries and protection magic for femme witches and healers, and compassionate depossesion. I also completed two years of study with the School of Traditional Magic, and am currently an apprentice under Ylva Mara Radziszewski.

If you are looking for a service not listed on my services page, or if my client load is full, I am happy to recommend other professionals I work with, including copy editors, grant writers, designers, and witches and healers.
